Introduction

So here is my attempt at blogging. I'm Miss Money, and this will be a blog about my life in general. Whatever I'm feeling, or doing, an update into important things in my life, and anything else I might want to include. I'm a mother to Charles Avery, who we call Charlie. He is 13 months old, and he is the light of my life! He's a pure joy! I'm in the researching phases of a couple of life altering projects including the "zero waste" lifestyle, MAJOR gardening (mostly to produce edibles), and changing my relationship with food and my body. If nothing else, this blog will serve only to hold me accountable. I know I'm a strong woman, but sometimes I lack the strength mentally to hold my end of the bargain, so perhaps with a public (though not incredibly advertised) forum like this, I will be able to gain some will-power!
I'm keeping this short, because, like I said before, I'm still researching right now, and it, as well as budgeting and planning financially, is quite time consuming. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though, because I know that my payback will be tremendous in various ways. I know the garden is happening, it's just a matter of what to grow, when to plant, where to plant it, which takes research, time and planning. However I will reap benefits like spending more time outside, encouraging bees to pollinate, attracting other insects to return to this area, it's all around great of the ecosystem, the produce I grow will be free of pesticides, the flavor will be better, I will compost, and have you ever heard of agriculture therapy?
This altered my world completely! I don't know how extreme I will go, but every little bit from everyone helps. Everyone should AT LEAST take recycling seriously. If you live in Lakeland, Florida you pay for recycling services monthly on your electric bill regardless of whether or not you want to, so you might as well do it or you're wasting money. Either way, you're ruining the Earth, might as well TRY to keep it in the best state that we possibly can. Try. Please.
Anyway, I'm done for now, because I hear the Charlie woke up from his nap.
Adios.
